Public bug reported:

Similar to https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/36838.

There are use cases for supporting the power button acpi event by
default.

#1: It makes the behavior for server hardware the same as desktop.
Pressing the button on the machine starts a clean shutdown.

#2: Running Ubuntu under virt-manager+KVM. It allows pressing the
virtual machine shutdown button to work properly.

I think there is a case for power management turned on for servers by
default to save electricity, but I am more worried about the power
button event.

** Affects: ubuntu-meta (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
