Okay, so after disabling visual effects ting are a lot smoother, but I still get that "hang-time" after logging in, where the computer just stops for several seconds while apparently waiting for something, I don' know if it is bluetooth, network manager or something completely different. I tried using bootchart to locate the issue, but I can't really find an obvious answer. However, I'll add the output here so you guys can look over it and see if you see anything suspicious.
