** Description changed:

  When using another X window (like Xnest or launching gdmthemetester), the new 
Window will not use your mouse gnome settings (which is normal) but when you 
close it, your mouse acceleration is not brought back.
  You'll have to run gnome-mouse-properties and click on acceleration to bring 
it back.
  
  Test case:
  In gnome set acceleration to (very) slow so you could see a difference.
  Open an Xnest :1 window. 
  Your mouse will have the «normal» acceleration.
  Close your Xnest window and the mouse will still have the «normal» settings.
