Hi Fran Taylor, Thanks for the info but I can see this is not the case here! I already have audited all of the networks for any such packet issues. The problem dramatically appears when I rdc into ALL of the Windows machines in all networks. I RDC into four different data centers from my three different internal networks and the rdesktop 'timeouts' only occur when using 'rdesktop' from Linux. How come this is happening only in 'rdesktop' in all 6 totally different networks on all machines so this is definitely not the case ;)
One of the major issue which cracks me up, is the timeout as slowness is acceptable as far as I'm able to work on remote machines!
