Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

1/
Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04

2/
openoffice.org 1:3.0.1-1u

3/

Create a small table with 3 columns of numbers, and the first one
ordered. In order to represent two functions f(x) g(x) Create a chart XY
(scatter), lines only, and define the data range of the chart with the
table, using more rows than necessary (i.e. blank cells). The resulting
chart draws 2 lines that fall back to left (zero) and goes back to
right, depend the scale used, the chart become unreadable. Try to modify
the values, of the area does not recover the chart.

Same problem if you have blank lines in the data range.

I noticed as well than redefining the data range, can reset the
properties of the lines (using secondary axis, color, width, ...)

4/

Since the X value is blank for the rows with empty cells, the rows
should be discarded.

Thanks for your work. have a nice day.
