Hi all ppc-codecs doesn't install because it needs libstdc++5 and it wont install because it need gcc-3.3-base. gcc-3.3-base contains no code whatsoever it has some reference docs in it, it also has no dependencies.
The libstdc++5 as supplied in Intrepid powerpc release wont install because it needs gcc-3.3-base not the whole of gcc-3.3 Does installing libstdc++5 break any other packages? If not can a dummy/transition package be made called gcc-3.3-base I've done it myself and so far it's working. ppc-codecs_20071007-0medibuntu1_powerpc.deb requires libstdc++5_3.3.6-15ubuntu4_powerpc.deb libstdc++5_3.3.6-15ubuntu4_powerpc.deb requires gcc-3.3-base_3.3.6-15ubuntu4_powerpc.deb Thanks Robyn -- ppc-codecs on intrepid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/312734 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
