Binary package hint: amarok
On my i368 system with xubuntu 6.10 installed (but switched to gnome)
Amarok cannot 'find' files with german umlauts in name or path. The
files are on an ext3 volume mounted to /home. When browsing the drive
Amarok shows 'GerÀusch' instead of 'Geräusch'. Other programms like
totem can acces these files.
