Public bug reported:
When RODBC is installed within R (>install.packages("RODBC")) or via synaptic,
unixodbc-dev is not installed. This results in a broken installation process
for RODBC (missing header files) and therefore RODBC won't work correctly.
Please fix this in Intrepid, since this is the package needed to port
Excel-files to R.
(My Ubuntu is a fully updated Intrepid, the rodbc-package is
1.2.3-1intrepid0)
