How about checking the existence of the files and subtracting the non-
existant count from the number of index hits before displaying it? That
will get rid of the confusion I suppose. Also how about showing all the
indexed files, with the ones that have been removed as gray? May be with
a check box which allows one to view only the remaining ones.
