Further to my message above, it has been possible to create the new file table2008 by the rather cumbersome routine recommended for transferring data. This is by highlighting the tablecurrent icon and copying it to the clipboard then creating a new OpenOffice spreadsheet file then opening the spreadsheet and pasting into the first cell. The copy the contents of the spreadsheet and copy it to the icon of the empty table that was created by the simple 'save as' routine. This results in a new copy of both contents and structure of the original table but with a new name.
I have found a number of Java error reports that have appeared since all these copying attempts have started. I am attaching the last 2 files, in case they are of use. all the best, imackee, Durham City UK ** Attachment added: "hs_err_pid9958.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/23584598/hs_err_pid9958.log -- OpenOffice base crashes when copying a table https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/310536 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
