If I can apply this patch on a live-cd system, then I am very interested to
test it!
(I don't want to install a alpha/beta on my productive system)
Please attach the patch to the bug report.
(I am not sure what "go into mainstream" does mean.
Did you mean the ubuntu-jaunty-dev-kernel mainstream?)
