I made a fresh install from alternate Ubuntu Studio Jaunty X86_64 alpha 5 a week ago. Sometimes I have no keyboard and mouse at GDM. I am not sure, but I think this bug generates logs in /var/log/gdm. I have 5 logs there and I think they match situation and time the bug appeared. Rebooting usually solves the problem, only once I had to reboot twice..
