I'd just like to add that I see the same issues too - iwl3945, it all worked fine in hardy, but after doing a fresh install of intrepid I am unable to connect to my home wireless - WPA2, AES. I put in the password & nothing happens for a while, then eventually it prompts for a password again but the existing password is now a long alphanumerical string (hex??).
