I'm currently using Ubuntu Edgy Eft (6.10), dist-upgraded. The battery
icon works perfectly now, I post the output of "acpi" even if I don't
think it is useful with my current (i.e. working) configuration:
$ acpi
Battery 1: discharging, 70%, 01:29:58 remaining
Maybe it could be useful the output of "acpi" on a Dapper Drake with
this problem.
