I'm running Ubuntu Feisty.
When I boot up, the GDM screen appears. If I log in, I can see my CPU
light flashing as if my session were loading, but the screen never
leaves the already-entered-password GDM screen. The screen will also
freeze if I press Ctrl+Alt+F1.
I also have linux-image-2.6.19-7-generic, which does work just fine.
