Hey, just added those values and now start messing around, and I get a new tooltip message: "Paused by battery". It seems that if the config key doesn't exist, trackerd doesn't set it and doesn't use it.
Putting an initial value in the config file seems to be a good workaround; I'd hope that a long-term fix would have trackerd create a config key if it doesn't exist when set in the GUI (so that we won't have this problem with other newly-added config options) For those who want to know how, insert these two lines into $YOURHOME/.config/tracker/tracker.config BatteryIndex=false BatteryIndexInitial=false and things should work. -- trackerd indexes when on battery https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/210967 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
