A-haaa! It seems that something altered the permissions of /var/lib/postgresql/8.3/main/. It should be postgres:postgres 700. Can you please do ls -ld /var/lib/postgresql/8.3/main/ and see what's wrong? You can fix it with sudo chown postgres:postgres /var/lib/postgresql/8.3/main/ sudo chmod 700 /var/lib/postgresql/8.3/main/ I just wonder what wrecked them, did you happen to change them manually? Or maybe have a backup/restore software which might have wedged the permissions? Or perhaps you have /var/lib/postgresql/ on a separate mounted file system or something such? -- package postgresql-8.3 8.3.6-0ubuntu8.04 failed to install/upgrade: subprocesso post-installation script retornou erro do status de saída 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/338336 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
