the patch seems rather large with quite some unrelated changes.
furthermore, it lacks explanations about the actual problem and is not
understandable as-is. I therefore have to reject to apply it to the
ffmpeg package in this form.
I strongly suggest that the author of the patch gets in touch with
upstream to get that merged. I noticed some AVCHD patches merged in
february, so the patch might not even apply properly to the package.
Lastly, please always attach patches to this bug, not only link to them.
