Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
It crashes with the following in the kernel log, and the screen corrupts:
[drm:i915_get_vblank_counter] *ERROR* trying to get vblank count for disabled
pipe 0
This seems to normally happen when changing brightness, but not
guaranteed to happen when changing brightness.
