I've noted that the intel graphics driver causes the HW cursor to jump when it is detecting modes (as provoked by Xrandr).
Various other bugs in the GNOME stack (at various times in the Jaunty cycle), have exaggerated the number of XRandR probes in a horrible interaction between g-s-d and the backlight brightness fading code. Lots of expensive XRandR probes is a more serious bug, but I suspect the jumping cursor symptom is some artifact of the registers saved / restored during the load-detection on various outputs. -- Cursor jumps from time to time https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/314390 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
