No, not like this.

Dell Latitude X1, Pentium M 1.1 GHz ULV, Intel i915GMS, using xserver-
xorg-video-intel. Both the processor and the graphics core are not very
fast (optimized for low power), thus the flickering might be more
noticable than on high-end systems.
