Public bug reported:
I just installed from zero Jaunty, and I am not able at all to mount my
ntfs partitions through fstab, when label does contain spaces.
What I did: as I always do, as I need ntfs partitions mounted at boot time, I
set mount point (e.g. /media/sda1) in Ubiquity for every ntfs partition.
I expected every partition mounted at boot, but it was true only for the
partitions not containing spaces in the label.
In fact, the NTFS partition "Documenti e Programmi" correspond to
/dev/disk/by-label/Documenti\x20e\x20Programmi/ while in fstab is
"Documenti_e_Programmi".
The problem is not present at all with the NTFS "WinOld" partition, perfectly
mounted as expected.
I attach output of sudo fdisk -l and sudo mount -a, and also /etc/fstab.
