I also have one of these. The correct usb id was only added to 2.6.29 eight days ago, so you'll have to wait for the next kernel release to get it working "out of the box".
The relevant commit is this one: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commitdiff;h=a1a69c8db7f988f903349442a7538d21b56c38e9;hp=4843b93c96ae5043c6279c4ec6fcd8ee3866ff5b A possible solution is described here: http://21500.org/?p=616 (and has links to a forum where they also discuss it). Personally I was lazy so my solution was to hex edit the driver and change and existing usb id to that of my device -- it was faster and there was no compiling involved :) -- USB Network Controller is not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/337145 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
