Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xfdesktop4
The latest version of the package in edgy introduced a patch to remove
the special desktop icons (home, trash, file system, etc.); however the
fashion in which this was done leaves no option to re-enable the icons.
feisty appears to have introduced a solution to the problem involving
xubuntu-default-settings that would be applicable to the situation.
