I'm using ubuntu 9.04 A5. My graphic card is intel gm945.
even I am barely using the basic desktop effect like fading when minimizing and
restoring windows. it just goes really slow. my machine works really good with
desktop effect on ubuntu 8.10. I guess there must be something wrong with the
driver. I'm using the latest one. even I upgrade to the latest kernel, same
problem still.
except that ubuntu 9.04 is really fast, especial its bootup speed.
hope this can be fix ASAP, cause it's a big deal when you are choosing
the ubuntu 9.04 to get a faster system but it just lag....
