** Description changed:

With the new mouting system introduced in dapper, some CD-Drive can't be
  mounted correctly.

- - On a desktop-CD, it fails on the "mounting root file system"
- - On a alternate/server CD, it fails just after checking for drivers to mount.
+ - On a desktop-CD, it fails on the "mounting root file system" (You here the
CD being reading for 10 seconds, and then, nothing !!)
+ - On a alternate/server CD, it fails just after checking for drivers to
mount. (Same)

- The only solution I found is to get a Breezy CD, then upgrade to dapper/Edgy.
Once this is done, your CD-Drive won't be able to be mount at all ! And if you
try to insert a CD-Rom, Ubuntu become unstable...
