Since you were testing this so long ago, it's quite likely that
Thunderbird has been updated since then. The problem may have been on
either side. Since you've said that it's working for you now, and I
can't reproduce this, I'll close the bug for you. For future reference
you can manage the status of your own bugs by clicking on the current
status in the yellow line and then choosing a new status in the revealed
drop down box. You can learn more about bug statuses at
