Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.17

I have two computers with BCM4306 chipsets. I used fwcutter to obtain
the firmware, and they worked fine with Dapper. They are connected on
startup, but every few hours, they still think they're connected, but
are unable to access anything via the network (no Internet, no ping the
router, etc.).

demsg says this:

[17268649.188000] bcm43xx: Controller RESET (TX timeout) ...
[17268650.220000] bcm43xx: Controller restarted

The rate reverts to 1 Mb/s as listed by iwconfig. Everything else looks
fine. I've found that this command brings it back up:

sudo iwconfig eth0 rate 11M ap auto
