Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: hotkey-setup

 G'day,

On a Fujitsu FMV-Biblo MG75TN (a Japanese machine) running Ubuntu Edgy, several
of the keys don't register. I have a page up for the machine at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/FujitsuFmvBibloMG75TN.

The machine according to 'sudo dmidecode -s system-manufacturer; sudo dmidecode
-s system-product-name; sudo dmidecode -s system-version' is
FUJITSU
FMVMG75TN8

.

The keys record nothing with keyboard short cuts, showkey or acpid.

Physical buttons below screen:
Application
 A
 B
 Internet
 Mail
Player
 Stop/Eject
 Play Pause
 Rewind
 Fast Forward

Function Key combinations
 Fn F4 - Mouse Off
 Fn F6 - Brightness Down
 Fn F6 - Brightness Up
 Fn F10 - Zoom?

Interestingly enough Fn F4 and F10 do do something.
Fn F4 turns the nipple and touchpad on/off
Fn F10 does something to the external monitor, I am still testing.

There is one key that almost works:
Fn Delete returns Print_Screen (same as Fn Insert) although it advertises
itself as "sys req"

Fn Insert with showkey -u is
0xe0 0x052
0xe0 0x0d2
Fn Delete with showkey -u is
0xe0 0x053
0xe0 0x0d3

The remaining keys (Volume mute, up, down; pg up, down; home; end; Prt
Scr) all seem to work ok.

Please let me know if there is any more information you need.
