Santiago Ward, you tell that you cannot print from xfprint4, can you print from other programs, like OpenOffice.org, Firefox, ...?
Please do a complete update of Jaunty. This should fix several problems in Plug'n'Print (automatic printer setup when connecting a USB printer). If you get any unwished result (automatic printer setup with driver inferior to Hardy/Intrepid, no suitable driver found instead of a successful setup, ..) please follow the instructions of my most recent comment in bug 306301.
