Public bug reported:
Hello,
I used to set the default size of emacs in my ${HOME}/.emacs file with
the commands
...
(set-frame-width frame-initial-frame 110)
(set-frame-height frame-initial-frame 50)
...
This worked until I installed Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid. Now this does not
work on emacs21 and emacs22 anymore. The *Messages* buffer has a message
...
No apropos matches for `set-frame-width'
...
I would like to continue to use this way to set the default size and not
-g ... or --geometry ... parameter.
Best Regards
