I know just, Nautilus and Gparted has differnet display of Memory-Usage. I have many Programs deleted and i see just: Nautilus say: 98,2 MB free Memory and Gparted say: 287,0 MB free Memory.
The System need (i think) 188,8 MB for Puffer or reserve for System. I need programs for my EeePC 901, wich intelligent managed Memory (for System-partition) also with external SD-card (in card-reader). Systemprograms stay on partition first (4GB) and other one programs store on SD-card (google-earth and so on). Has Ubuntu a such programs for EeePC to the avoidance of system crash.
