Thanks for looking at this bug. I've finally gotten the time to follow up on this, I hope that you will have a look and see what's going wrong.
First, my problem still exists, and I'd like to work to solve it. Second, I was unable to replicate the bug using a 8.10 live CD. I diff'ed the smb.conf files (the live and my current install) and found the only difference to be in workgroup names. Third, I read the Debugging Network Manager page pretty carefully but I'm not able to understand which of these tests would be useful for me to perform. And performing any of them would require some work and research on my part, so I'd like some direction, if possible. So I'm attaching my log file. I created a comment near the end as to where I tried to access the network. ** Attachment added: "syslog" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/23897481/syslog -- Samba doesn't work with wireless connection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/309753 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
