Public bug reported:
Fresh installed Jaunty amd64 (2.6.28-9) reboots shortly after boot. The
i386 version runs perfectly.
The reboot happens quite after the message "loading device drivers" but not
exactly at the same time each time I try so it is not possible to say what
module is causing it.
I also tried the 2.6.29-rc8 from the kernel-ppa with the same effect (installed
using a chroot environment).
System Logs are empty if I try to read them with a live-cd so the log daemon
seems not to be running when the reboot appears.
Would like to add more detailled information but the reboot appears fast to it
is hard to read the last messages.
Is there a way to boot step by step by confirming each module to load?

Used Version: 9.04 beta 6 and every daily build after the beta release

Samsung Aura R560 Laptop
Intel P8600 CPU
Intel 82801 Chipset (ICH9M-E/M)
DDR3 Memory
