Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org-java-common

Hello,

I just installed Jaunty Alpha 6 (x86). After a fresh install I updated
the system using the repositories and noticed that openoffice.org-
emailmerge gets installed on the standard install from the x86 CD but
appears to depend on openoffice.org-java-common which is not installed
from the x86 CD.

During the update of openoffice.org-emailmerge I got the following error
which prompted me to submit this to you guys...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Setting up openoffice.org-emailmerge (1:3.0.1-5ubuntu2) ...
Adding extension /usr/lib/openoffice/basis3.0/program/mailmerge.py...javaldx:
Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
Please ensure that the package openoffice.org-java-common is installed.
If it is already installed then try removing
~/.openoffice.org/3/user/config/javasettings_Linux_*.xml

~/.openoffice.org/3/user/config/javasettings_Linux_*.xml

I then installed looked and noticed that openoffice.org-java-common was
not installed as the error suggested. I was able to quickly install
this in the repositories, but thought I let you know of this missing
dependency in a fresh install.

Hopes this helps,
LaChild
