I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 Alpha 4 on an Acer Aspire 4720z laptop. If have
too many windows open the system freezes completely except for the
cursor. I thought that it may be cairo or compiz, but even turning off
these processes does not stop the error. Its happened at least 10 times
today. My GPU is an Intel gm965; I don't know if that's relevant. I
might be running Transmission and Firefox and then say I start another
process like terminal, file operations or openoffice 6 times out of ten
I get a freeze. Its _really_ annoying. The busy light on my laptop stays
on if processess are running so my suspicion is it has to do with my
gpu.
