Hello, Just open a video MP4 file with totem. Choose Preferences for videoviewing. Make some changes for brightness, colour, contrast and after that you only can close the window without saving the changes.
So, as long as your linux session lasts, the changes will stay in Totem, but as soon as you shut down Linux and reboot it, the changes you made in the preference tab are gone so that you have to make these changes again and again and again after each reboot, and that is not realy nice.
