Binary package hint: librapi2
The -dev package does not have the /usr/lib/pkgconfig/librapi2.pc file.
I mocked one up which seems to satisfy the synce gnome-vfs code anyway:
prefix=/usr
exec_prefix=${prefix}
libdir=${exec_prefix}/lib
includedir=${prefix}/include
Name: librapi
Description: A helper library for SynCE, a framework to sync WinCE devices
Version: 0.9.1
Libs: -L${libdir} -lrapi
Cflags: -I${includedir}
Just as an aside, it would be nice if Ubuntu came with the gnome-vfs
synce module.
