Can you still reproduce this bug on Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty)? You can
download a test (desktop) live cd from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/jaunty/
I could not reproduce this problem with openoffice.org 1:3.0.1-7ubuntu1.
A version for intrepid will also be available in the ppa by tomorrow.
