Thanks. There is this interesting modeline that gets filtered out when you
specify ranges manually in xorg.conf:
(II) RADEON(0): Modeline "1280x1024"x333.2 599.52 1280 1328 1440 1688 1024
1025 1028 1066 +hsync +vsync (355.2 kHz)
Sure the 333.2 refresh rate looks odd. What is also odd, is that the
ranges you specify manually are the same as the monitor itself declares
(or even a bit wider), so it should in principle not make a difference.
