Pedro, I made a test with Intrepid and the issue is still present. In fact, after having configure my pop account, the number of new notified messages, displayed in the notification area, were 45 while evolution downloaded 51 new messages (and this last number was ok). Tested with Intrepid and evolution 2.24.3.
