Hi Ollie, Good call, I've not seen that report as the X Errors fill my shell buffer so badly I can't scroll back.
Themes are in /usr/share/mythtv/themes, so going on your report I did an "ln -s /usr/share/mythtv/themes ./" into my .mythtv directory in my home. Sadly this did not resolve the problem. Again I have run a dist-upgrade (0900CET, 20th March 2009), and the issue remains. Considering this bug seems to affect both ATI and Nvidia cards, it must be something between X and Myth I think. I am deeply disappointed no-one has bothered to register this as a serious bug so far, as the knock-on will have impact on Mythbuntu and anyone using Myth on Jaunty.
