Computer: Dell D600
After installing Ubuntu 8.11 (actually both fresh install and upgrade
from 8.01) the wireless card is switched OFF. Attempts to press the
Fn+F2 to turn it ON fail. I have a dual boot system and must go into
Windows 2000 Pro, apply the Function key switch and then boot back into
Ubuntu. Only once though.
If, however, the wireless card is switched OFF in Windows, it will
remain switched OFF when booting back into Ubuntu.
