Public bug reported:

when i am going to enable desktop effects, i have to enable nvidia
driver at first and then reboot my system, going to: system >
administration > hardware driver...

would not it be better if i just have to go to enable effects and ubuntu
automatically recognize my video hardware and enable my nvidia driver
(in my case) and enable desktop effects automatically or at least show
me a message that reads: reboot your system to enable desktop effects.

i had this idea to make things faster and for human beings!
