I have researched a little bit this problem and it is not a permission bug. It only seems to be that. The problem is the direct rendering. if you disable direct rendering you can run 3D games without stripes (export LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=true) It is not a permission problem because if you run with sudo direct rendering is automatically disabled (I don't known why) and that is the reason why it works with sudo. But if you run the game with the root user the problem is the same (because with root user direct rendering is enabled, like with your usual account) So it couldn't be a permission problem With the drivers downloaded from amd's page this problem is not present (you can run 3D games with or without direct rendering with the same results, I mean without stripes)
