I'm also encountering this issue, with an upgrade to Jaunty that I ran yesterday. On my machine, the wireless seems to die if I shut the lid.
When I open the lid again, I get these messages in /var/log/messages: Mar 21 15:57:58 artemis kernel: [ 2366.000081] b43-phy0: Radio hardware status changed to DISABLED Mar 21 15:58:03 artemis kernel: [ 2370.940071] b43-phy0: Radio turned on by software Mar 21 15:58:03 artemis kernel: [ 2370.940086] b43-phy0: The hardware RF-kill button still turns the radio physically off. Press the button to turn it on. This seems to be the same issue, but manifesting slightly differently. I've got the UK variant of the HP2133. Everything worked fine in Intrepid. -- [HP 2133 MiniNote laptop] Unexpected and unrecoverable wireless disconnect with B43 driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/331952 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
