I managed to get into initramfs by booting without quiet, splash, or ro,
and adding break=bottom to the boot parameters. I determined that my
linux filesystem seems to be intact, and all the files are located at
/root, but sadly I can't run many of the commands I'd like to such as
xconf or startx... is there a way to get you the debug information that
you need using initramfs, or atleast fix my system? I tryed that httpd
thing that's mentioned in the DebuggingKernelBoot article, but it
doesn't seem to do anything. It complains that the command is
nonexistent, and typing help to see the built in commands does not show
it in the list.
