Ian Mackee, If you go to the launchpad.net website you can attach the file to the bug report directly instead of doing it through email. I am not sure but I don't think launchpad has any file size limit. It looks like from the message from your mail server it deleted the file not because it was over-sized but because they just delete any files of that file type period.
