Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Using a fresh installation of intrepid (8.10), I can't use my native LCD
resolution.
EDID fails.
Xorg.0.log has the following two lines repeatedly:
(II) intel(0): I2C device "CRTDDC_A:ddc2" registered at address 0xA0.
(II) intel(0): I2C device "CRTDDC_A:ddc2" removed.
according to lspci, I have :
Intel Corporation 82G33/G31 Express Integrated Graphics Controller
Screen:
ViewSonic VA712 LCD, native resolution 1280x1024
