Same versions, another computer and monitor. This actually rotates. Also, cards are different. Previous report was for some ATI, current is for an integrated Intel 82Q35 using "intel" driver, everything autodetected.
In this case, every rotation somewhat works without loss of speed. There's a problem with the resolution on the 90/270 rotations. Instead of switching to 1024x1280, I get a clipped desktop on the right side and a black strip under the plasma panel. There's no scrolling like in virtual screens larger that the actual resolution. Mirroring along both axis (which I don't remember being there yesterday in the other computer) doesn't work: No monitor blanking, no asking to keep the new config and, of course, no mirroring. -- Desktop ignores rotation in kubuntu hardy kde 4.1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/255661 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
